A warm welcome

Mill of Inverarity Farm Shop is based in Inverarity on the outskirts of Forfar. We are open Wednesday to Sunday.

Our well-stocked farm shop sells a range of our own beef, lamb and free-range eggs, along with a varied selection of other local Scottish produce including seasonally fresh fruit, vegetables, cheese, traybakes and cupboard staples.

In our local area

We're lucky to be surrounded by beautiful landscape here in Angus and there are plenty of things to visit and do if you're making a day of it.

Near-by Carrot Hill is perfect for a sunny walk and while you're there you can stop by our friends at the Brownie Barn at Hatton for tasty treats and local gifts. Book a tour at Newton Farm while you're in the area to go walking with alpacas and see other animals.

We're also a stone's throw from attractions such as Glamis Castle, Ogilvy Distillery and the Gin Bothy for tours and experiences.

A 15min drive to the East will take you to Carnoustie and the coast.

A 15min drive Northwest will take you to Kirriemuir, the Gateway to the Glens.

A 15min drive South will take you to the City of Dundee, the home of the V&A museum.

A 60min drive North will take you to Aberdeen.

A 60min drive South will take you to Edinburgh.

Is there Parking available to visit the Shop?

Yes, we have some parking available directly outside our farm shop. Please be aware that Mill of Inverarity is a working farm so there may be machinery operating.

When can I collect my order after purchasing?

Choose your collection day at checkout. Choose from available times across Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

How far is the Farm Shop from Forfar?

The farm shop is based in Inverarity just 5 miles from Forfar town centre, you'll find us here: Mill of Inverarity Farm, Inverarity, DD8 2JN, Forfar.

Do you serve coffee and food?

We are excited to say that we now offer hot coffees, tea and hot chocolate to takeaway.

Unfortunately, we do not serve hot food at this time. We do have a huge selection of food, such as tray bakes, that can be taken away to enjoy!

Awaiting grade from Visit Scotland

We're excited to say that we've signed up to Visit Scotland and are awaiting a visit so that they can grade us and give us an official rating.

Visit Scotland is a huge resource for both locals and visitors alike. You can plan entire days out from suggestions on the website and know that they have been quality checked so you're sure to have an enjoyable time.

Let us know if there are any ways you can see for us to improve our little farm shop, we try hard to stay on top of things and keep our stock fresh and exciting but if we've left out an old favourite please don't hesitate to tell us.
